2009 QUAIL CREEK THURSDAY NIGHT MEN’S
LEAGUE RULES
1.
On the first night of league the handicaps will be
from the ending night of last year if you played 5 rounds. Players carrying
forward a 2008 handicap will use that handicap for the 1st week only
for match consideration. The score posted the first week played will then be
used as his handicap for week two.
2.
If a player has not played the minimum of 5 rounds in
2008 he will be considered a “calloway” player the first time he plays in 2009. A calloway’s handicap will be 80% of his
score for his first time out. Score
posted that week will be his handicap the next round played.
3.
Handicaps shall be established after 5 weeks taking
the average of the most recent 5 rounds of play.
4.
Starting week 6 all handicaps from 2008 will be
invalid and those players playing for the first time will be marked as
“Calloway” with that round determining their handicap for that week.
5.
The first round of blue tees will use ending handicap
from white tees, thereafter the handicaps will be based on blue tee scoring
only. Same as the start of league.
6.
Players not completing “at least” 3 rounds in the 1st
half of the season will be a “calloway” the first time they play the blue tees.

All scores over a triple bogey will be thrown out for
handicapping. All scorers need to be
aware of this rule.

match two points will be awarded to the player winning the most holes and 1
