About Us:
The Iowa City Golf Association is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization working to promote interest, enthusiasm and support for the game among all golfers in the Greater Iowa City / Coralville Area.
The Iowa City Golf Association formed in March of 2002 and was incorporated on May 17, 2004. The first Iowa City Amateur tournament was held in August 1992 at local courses.
The board oversees ICGA sanctioned golf tournaments in Johnson County including three junior tournaments for boys and girls grades 7th thru 12th. In addition to tournaments, the best golfers from Johnson County compete in an annual Ryder Cup tournament against Cedar Rapids.
