Iowa City Golf Association
The ICGA board voted in September 2019 to allow any golfer that has a, membership, play package and/or plays in a Johnson County golf league or lives in the City of West Branch, be able to play in the Senior and Iowa City Am in 2020.
We apologize for not getting this information out earlier but with the current state of affairs, we had to take a wait and see attitude. We will review these qualifications yearly at our year end review and update them accordingly.
Thank you ICGA Board.
Andrew Robertson and Josh Downham win the inaugural Better Ball tourney with a score of 15 under par.
Golf and Covid 19
The ICGA is paying close attention to the situation and will move tournament dates as needed to protect the health of our local communities. For now, no registration links are available because we are not going to take players money until we know a tournament is a go. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Golf is great exercise and a wonderful way to be with friends while still social distancing. Local courses have been terrific in making modifications to minimize the potential spread of the virus. There are sponges in cups, limits to the number of people in a cart, sanitizing, etc. The ICGA will keep track of developments and modify our tournaments and dates as needed. Please stay safe and well. We will get through this together. In the meantime, enjoy some time on the course while being responsible to yourself and others.
Courses and preliminary dates for most 2020 Tournaments are set
